Pitch submission guidelines

Please send a maximum 200-word pitch and a 50 to 200-word biographical note introducing your academic background to Anna Lucken, Journal and Blog Manager at contact (at) thecjbs (dot) org or via our Contact Form. We will respond to your pitch in three business days.

Full-draft submission guidelines

  • Length: 500-700 words. Please get in touch with us if you would like to publish a long-form piece.
  • File format: Microsoft Word-compatible files or PDF
  • Photo: Please ensure all images used in the draft meet the copyright requirements and can be published/republished on the blog and the Canadian Journal of Buddhist Studies
  • Biographical note: 50 to 200-word introducing your academic background

Publication schedule

We strive to publish your report on the blog in two weeks from the day we receive the full draft. The actual publication process can vary depending on the nature of each report.

Republication in the Canadian Journal of Buddhist Studies News and Views

Original reports will be considered for republication in News and Views section of the annual issue.
